In this class session we practiced portrait shooting using appropriate lighting. Here is an example.

International competition - Bloody Cuts

This was a competition I was thinking of entering. It is an international competition, were every contestant must create a short horror film. I was thinking of teaming up with class mate Fabrizio Fenech also, but too much work was handed to us all of a sudden and we had to scrap the idea completely. Maybe next year !

School Promotional video

In this task each group was given a department of the school of Art and design, and we needed to produce a video in order to promote the school and hopefully, if up to standard, will be used together with the online prospectus. I personally liked the way it turned out but there was still some room for improvement.

The effects we used were slider shots, timelapse, hyperlapse ... and much more.

Interview Production - Rene' Rossignaud.

In this assignment we were required to look for a person who has reached high levels of success in his/ her career. After working on photography i remembered I had light connections with successful international photographer Rene' Rossignaud. Unfortunately after all the planning done, the interview did not turn out good. Our lighting was limited, the background was boring and the interview was not as smooth. We then managed to conduct the interview again, this time at his own place. This version turned out to be very successful. I even showed it to 2 different lecturers and got very positive feedback.

Photography assignment - Market documentary

Each of us were assigned to shoot certain subject ranging from food, flowers and even buildings. My assignment was to document the open air market. Since a class mate of mine was assigned to to shoot horses, I decided to bring him along with me in Valletta. It was a nice day to shoot and also was ideal for the large amounts of people shopping due to it being Christmas season .
